Mom fires her doctor and warns Dad he will "regret" breaking up with her before disappearing with Evie

Mom, upset about her diagnosis and having to focus on treatment, fires her doctor and tells Dad that:

• She had been planting stories of abuse and mental illness for months
• He would 'regret' breaking up with her
• She intended to deny Dad's rights as a father
• She was returning to NY at 3pm that afternoon

Alternately, she would beg that he would not break up with her.

Dad wasn't sure what to do and reached out to Grumpa Walsh for help, "Absent you coming to get her I don't think it's safe for her to fly or be alone with the baby right now."

He didn't know what to do and trusted her Dad for guidance, "I'd ask you to support me in getting her into a facility or fly out here and talk/meet with everyone before deciding to help her back to NY, if that ends up being what is best

Later that afternoon Mom slipped out of the apartment with Evie without telling anyone. Dad called her Psychiatrist and Grumpa Walsh immediately.

Grumpa Walsh reached out to Mom and convinced her to turn around with Evie. He followed-up with Dad to make sure they arrived safely. Dad made it clear that he wanted to figure out the best path forward for everyone. Even though he preferred in-patient treatment since it was recommended by her Psychiatrist, he clarifies with Grumpa, "I am happy to be very flexible in where she lives, nanny, type of care, etc"
