Mom is diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

Mom suspected she had BPD in the past, her sister had written a blog post about it, but she had only formally been diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder and ADHD.

The BPD diagnosis was made by a top specialist and forensic psychiatrist who was recommended by her personal primary care physical after her recent delusional episode.

Later, Mom's longtime therapist, Rita Mercante, wrote a letter to the court confirming that Mom takes her diagnosis seriously:

"Importantly, due to her childhood history, Tara experiences abandonment anxiety that is triggered when she perceives abandonment."

"Tara began seeing Dr. Gopal for treatment for Bipolar and Borderline Personality Disorder"
